Endangered Species-California Condor
The California Condor is the largest land bird in North America. The Condors wing span is an Incredible 10 ft and also it weighs on average 26 lbs. It is endangered for the use of poachers, lead poisoning and habitat destruction. This is just one of many endangered species in the Grand Canyon. Weather and Climate- The climate of the park Depends on Elevation. The Highest recorded temperature at the highest elevation was 120 degrees F. The lowest temperature at the lowest elevation was recorded at -20 degrees F. Climate mostly sunny and hot.
